There is nowhere else on earth like The North Yorkshire Dales, it's one of my favourite locations. The beauty of hiking up the mountain on a blustery winters day is you more or less end up having the whole place to yourself. The views back down into Ribbledale and beyond are spectacular. It definitely took me longer to climb up it than it would ordinarily because I just couldn't put my camera away. Here's a few shots from the afternoon, by the time I made it back to the car it was dark and I was a bit cold, but it was worth every second. Totally Beautiful!
